Piermont Artist, Frances Wells, has lived on and painted the Hudson River for the last twenty years. Like the Hudson River School painters, she is captivated by the beauty and the luminosity of the river and it’s valley. Her work, which has been shown in Manhattan, Rockland and Westchester Counties, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, Washington and Missouri, resides in over five hundred private collections throughout the United States,Canada and the British isles.
The Wells exhibit may be viewed throughout December at The Corner Frame Shop, Tuesday – Saturday 10AM until 5:30PM The public is invited to the Artist’s Reception on Sunday, December 2nd from 2 – 5 pm at The Corner Frame Shop, 40 South Franklin Street, Nyack.
